12 Steps and True Freedom

June 11, 2017 by Kayce L.

Our first true freedom is the freedom not to have to take a drink today. If we truly want it, we will work the 12 steps and the happiness of this freedom will come to us through the steps. Sometimes quickly-sometimes slowly. Other freedoms will follow and inventorying them is a new happiness. We have a new freedom to be the best we can be.

Hi guys!! I miss everyone speaking to the lead too! Hope Sobriety comes first! That is the reason for this sight, I believe!
I love my new freedom and I am growing. I have been in my new lifestyle 6 months now.(new state, relationship change, renting) Trust God. Clean House. Help Others. These ALL continue!!
I jumped right into connecting by going to meetings. I have been sponsor to two women. I got a sponsor here & check in with my original one! Working the steps out of the BB! I now secretary an Al-anon & AA Speaker meeting. This all comes from living the 3rd, 7th & 11th Step prayers. Living One Day At A Time. I am a free sober woman.
