When I ask for help I am helping. The evidence of this is I like it when I am asked to help it is part of my recovery step 12. Asking for help is not always easy I can think of many reasons why not to call. The telephone is amazing actually, I do not need to be face to face I have spent hours getting counsel on the phone. Good counsellors always get me to answer my own questions. I see lots of new people who are still trying to do it on their own, they do not realize it and their intentions are good but we need help. They try things that are not proven to work. I have to let go of life long conceptions and give mysel to this simple program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Just talk to someone it may save your life.

Just asking for help sounds as if it is the most simple of actions regarding recovery, when in reality asking for help can prove to simply be the hardest recovery-minded action one might face. Don’t ever take the fact for granted that YOU asked for that help. One cannot control what may come from your inquiry, so one must take strength in the act of KNOWING they directly asked a peer for something so foreign, so alien in nature to them, while all the while understanding just how important indeed this question was in awakening, energizing their newfound commitment to staying sober.

Simply put: Good job, always ask for help (:

Thank you for this free app. Is nice to be able to read up on the big book (at least the first 164 pages) if I am somewhere and my book is at home. I plan to tell those in my District about it. (Valley Springs, Ca)
