Personal Responsibility in Recovery

Responsibility to OurselvesPersonal Responsibility is one of the key concepts to our recovery; it involves taking action and doing what needs to be done to get well and stay well.

It’s not easy and it can take time. When we take ownership of our life and our future we can gain back control of our lives. Trust in God, clean house, and attend meetings.

    It has taken me years & years to stop the blame game do a honest step 4 turn my life over to a higher power before I realized I am responsible for ALL that’s happens in my life Gail

      Gail God will help u always pray smile and enjoy your recovery. Because recovery and sobriety is awesome I am 4 years and 4 months of sobriety.!!!!!!

    Practice , not giving in, just keep trying has continued to help me in all aspects of recovery

    After a 7 month period of step work and sobriety, being conceited and not accepting responsibility for my wrongdoings lead me to another 6 month relapse. Grateful to God and my friends in AA for another chance and today is 2 weeks! Love you all!
